William C. Kashatus resides in the greater Philadelphia area and is a historian, educator, writer, and former park ranger at Independence National Historical Park. He earned a master’s in history at Brown University and a doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania. Kashatus has taught at Penn’s Graduate School of Education, West Chester University, and the William Penn Charter School. He is the author of two dozen books on biography and American history.
