Jeffrey DeRosa enlisted in the US Army in 1989 until 2011 serving as a combat engineer for twenty of twenty-two years, and retired as a master sergeant. Jeffrey has served in a variety of positions during his tenure as a combat engineer serving in several stateside installations including Ft. Ord, Ft. Hood, Ft. Drum, Ft. Leonard Wood, and overseas tours in the Republic of Korea, the Federal Republic of Germany, Kuwait (Operation Desert Spring), Bosnia (Operation Joint Endeavor), Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom), and Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom). Although Jeffrey? time in the military is over he remains committed and connected with his fellow veterans through various service organizations such as American Veterans (AMVETS) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Jeffrey currently works for the US Department of Justice and lives on Long Island, New York, with his daughters Alyssa and Madison.
